Full Spectrum
CBD Hemp Oil
"Full spectrum" means the oil contains all the cannabinoids naturally present in the plant (see the lab report in the "About CBD" section), as opposed to containing isolated CBD alone. Some practictioners believe CBD works synergistically with the other cannabinoids in the plant to give a better result than isolated CBD. Based on our reading, we are of this opinion, and that is why we have chosen to offer "full spectrum" CBD oil.
Each bottle is 1 oz. (30 ml) and contains less that 0.3% THC, as required by federal law in order to be defined as hemp instead of as marijuana. The included graduated dropper assists with dosing.

Seeds
SEEDS themselves contain little to no cannabinoids. Original Cherry strain will produce hemp plants with 8 to 20 % CBD... < .3% THC (depending upon growing conditions). Ideal for making your own creams or lotions. Ancestors of these came from Key to Life in Colorado. (Their price:10 seeds for $100.)

CBD FOR PETS
DOSING
For general well-being, a common recommendation for dogs is 1-2 mg of CBD per 10 pounds of body weight; for medicinal applications, 2-3 mg per 10 pounds is recommended. So, for example, using 2 mg/10 pounds as your dosing rate, 5 mg of CBD oil, administered orally through food or a squirt in the mouth, would be a good starter dose for a 25-pound dog with arthritis. The dose can be incrementally increased if it seems helpful.
